All necessary equipment is provided. Photos and/or video footage of the surf lessons may be available for an additional cost. In winter we rent wetsuits to students who need them for an added cost.

Because of our extensive teacher training and surfing experience, depth of safety qualifications, and pure love of the ocean environment, you will not find another surf school that can offer what we can. Our qualifications allow us to offer much more than other surf schools for a much lower price than the industry standard. A typical session consists of 4 components.

1. “Class on the Beach” We start our surf lesson sessions with a short 15-20 minute classroom style lesson on safety, history of surfing, understanding waves, marine biology etc. For the younger children we may start with a short surf story book.
2. “Core” Next we do 15-20 minute warm up, stretching, and balance training regiment. We utilize lots of training tools in our class that focus on balance and isolate core muscles.
3. “Sand Surf” We spend another 15-20 minutes doing surf simulation on the sand. That way our students know exactly what to expect when they enter the water.
4. “Surf” The last hour or so we spend in the water learning to ride waves.
