What a great time was had by all who came out to the Indo Jax Trash Challenge and Beach Sweep.  I was impressed by the turn out.  I looked at last years picture of the Beach Sweep and compared it to this years.  We quadrupled in size at least for this event.  Kevin you did an amazing job of putting this together and deserved all the attention you got for this.  Thanks to those who donated prizes, Local Sessions, SOD, Mellow Mushroom, Aussie Island, Wblivesurf, Neela, and of course Indo Jax.  I think this event will continue to grow as the years go by, and let’s hope the lessons stick with our youth.  The children are the future so we all have a duty to teach them about conservation.  Speaking of our youth, the contestants, Jack, Kasey and Megan.  Great job!!  All of you did fabulous projects and we hope you liked all the prizes you received.  Chris of Local-Sessions, thank you for coming out, we appreciate your continued support.  All in all it was an amazing day.

Please join us tomorrow for a beach sweep at Wrightsville beach from 4:00- 6:00!  We will meet at the oceanic pier otherwise known as Crystal Pier.  We will also be crowning the trash challenge winners!  Hope to see you there.  Kevin

Protect This Coast!

That was an incredible event!  Everyone had so much fun out there, and I could not believe how well all those athletes did.  Thank you to Holli, Jared and Micah for putting so much effort in to this day.  Thank you to all the volunteers, without you this would be impossible.  Thank you to the Indo Jax crew, you guys always rise to the occasion.  Most importantly thank you to the athletes who came out and braved the cold and caught a few waves.  You guys were awesome out there, and we should all be so enthusaistic!  That was a day I won’t soon forget.
